Recap: Okay, here it goes: Joey and Dawson were together, but then Jen kissed Dawson and Abby told Joey about it. In attempt to get Dawson back, Joey kisses Jack and gets together with him. Dawson is heart broken by this and tells Pacey how he feels about Joey at the Icehouse. His feelings for her are that he (duh!) loves her. Joey accidentally over hears this, and feels guilty for the pain she put Dawson through. In attempt to get him back, she tells him to meet her at the ruins. When she arrives, Jack is there, and when Dawson shows up, Jack kisses Joey. Dawson runs off, with Joey trying to find him. Whew!

Dawson is in his room, feeling absolutely miserable. How could Joey do that to him?????? How could his parents be having an open relationship?????

If she's gone I can't go on
Feeling two foot small

Joey was desperate. She hated Jack for what he did, and she hated herself even more for believing what Abby said and hurting Dawson like this. I can't give up. She sighed, and headed in direction of the Leery house.

Dawson was laying on his bed, analyzing his life again. He had finally turned all the adulted perception on himself and decided that he would have to live his life. But the second after he graduated, he would get on a plane and fulfill his life-long dream of being a filmmaker. No one could stop him. Not Pacey, not his parents, not even Joey. But he knew his love for her would never die.

Ev'rywhere people stare
Each and everyday
I can see them laugh at me
And I hear them say

Joey ran the ladder. The only thing she had in mind was to show Dawson Leery she loved him.

The ladder thumped against the edge of the Leery house, but Dawson tried to make himself believe that it was only in his mind. But he knew it wasn't.

I can never win
Hearing them, seeing them
In the state I'm in

Joey climbed into her love interest's window. She saw Dawson look at her, but couldn't decipher the glance. At first she saw hate and anger. But for a mere second, she swore she saw a glimpse of...love????

"Yes, Josephine?????" he asked coldly.

"Dawson, there's nothing going on between Jack and me. What you saw today was him trying to pursue me. And it didn't work. I'm sorry, Dawson, because I know I hurt you. And I know what I did was horrible and awful, and I saw the hurt in your eyes. But what I was going to tell you today is that I love you. I need you, Dawson, and if you shut that window, it'll be like you're shutting me out of your life, and that's something I wouldn't be able to stand. And everything I'm telling you is the truth, and I," she gulped, feeling the tears welling up in her eyes, so afraid of being rejected, "I understand if you hate me." She turned to leave. "Goodbye, Dawson," she whispered, almost inaudibly.

Let me hear you say

"Joey!!!" Dawson sprang up from the bed, and ran over to her. She turned to look at him, tears running down her cheeks. He bent down and kissed her.

"I know it's incredibly impossible sounding, but after all you did to me, I still love you. I've always loved you, and always will."

Joey threw her arms around his neck, and held onto him tightly. "This isn't a dream, right????"

"Of course not, Joey. But in every dream, I'll love you. Always and forever."

They smiled, as their lips met again.
